Regular Square Nuts

Haixin® Regular square nuts are kinds of four-sided nuts. Compared with standard hex nuts, regular square nuts have a greater surface in contact with the part being fastened, and therefore provide greater resistance to loosening. They are also much less likely to become rounded-off after repeated loosening/tightening cycles. Regular square nuts are typically mated with square-headed bolts or hex head bolts. Regular square nuts are used along with flat washers in order to avoid damage from its sharp edges and helps to increase the strength of the fastener.

Tops of Haixin® regular nuts shall be flat and chamfered or washer crowned. Diameter of the chamfer circle shall be equal to the maximum width across flats within a tolerance of minus -15 percent.The surface of the chamfer many be slightly convex or rounded. Threads of regular square nuts shall be unified coarse threads series, Class 2B.Chemical and Mechanical property of steel regular square nuts shall conform with Gr.A of ASTM A563. The material shall be C1020 steel minium, If finish is hot dip galvanized, it shall be per ASTM A153-Latest.
